RADICAL HOSPITALITY, A Study of 1-3 John
Loving people is complicated. It can hurt; it is messy. Often, we would rather hide away in devotionals, small groups or fellowship gatherings with people who look and act like we do. The author of 1-3 John has other ideas. He challenges us to live out our call to love God and love our neighbor by practicing “radical hospitality” and “risky love.” In this ten-week class we will dive into the Letters and Gospel of John to re-learn how to walk as Jesus walked, to reach out and connect with those considered outside of society. Finally, taking that leap to risk it all by being hated on behalf of those who need love the most.
