The Personnel Committee works closely with the Associate Executive Pastor of Wayne Presbyterian Church to oversees the personnel functions of the church.  We act in an advisory capacity to the Associate Executive Pastor by:

• Participating in searches for new staff;
• Making revisions to the Employee Handbook to provide clarity on policies;
• Developing standard evaluation forms for use with all staff and clergy including goals and intentional ongoing accountability and coaching toward these goals;
• Ensuring that employee milestones are celebrated appropriately;
• Reviewing health care costs and employee contributions to these costs;
• Developing development plans for staff to meet the evolving needs of the church.

We are looking for 1-2 more members to join the committee who have strong HR backgrounds.
