INTO THE LIGHT, Finding Hope Through Prayers of Lament

By P. Lynn Miller

Led by Angela Tait

This 9-week study mines both the Old and New Testament and provides unique works of art for illustration and discussion on the shape of human prayers to God. We will examine the concept of lament from both a societal and a Biblical perspective. We will define lament, what happens when there is an absence of lament in your life and finally discover how scriptural lament changes our perspective from anguish to hope.

THE BETTER MOM: Growing In Grace Between Perfection and the Mess By Ruth Schwenk

Led by Pam Clark

Motherhood is messy. Our joy and hope in raising children don’t change the reality being a mom can be frustrating, stressful, and tiring. But just as God is using us to shape our children, God is using our children and motherhood to shape us.
