CHILDREN'S & YOUTH MINISTRIES
GROWING IN FAITH, SERVICE AND SPIRIT
Our congregation is committed to nurturing the spiritual growth of our children and supporting their families on their faith journey through programs that provide children with meaningful opportunities to deepen their faith and relationship with God. From Sunday School and Vacation Bible Camp to fellowship and mission events, the children and youth of our congregation are introduced to new opportunities each year that help them grow in faith, spirit, and service; ensuring they not only learn about God but also experience God’s presence in their lives.
For Children
Children’s Nursery
Childcare is available every Sunday during worship. Children are welcome in our nursery throughout the morning, where they’ll be cared for and engaged by our dedicated volunteers.
Joyful Noise
Children ages 2 through grade 5 are warmly invited to participate in engaging, age-appropriate Sunday School programming that combines fun, meaningful learning, and spiritual growth.
For Youth
Youth Group
Students in grades 6–12 are invited to be part of Youth Group-a safe and welcoming community where they can share a meal, build friendships, and grow in faith. Through games, conversation, and connection, teens discover they are never alone on their journey with God.
Middle School Sunday School
Youth in grades 6 and 7 are encouraged to join us for Sunday School each week at 9:30 AM in the youth rooms, where they can explore their faith, connect with friends, and grow through meaningful discussion and activities.
High School Sunday School
All high school youth (grades 9–12) are invited to a new Sunday morning gathering designed for meaningful conversation, honest questions, and a deeper look into Scripture.
Confirmation Class
Confirmation is a meaningful way for rising 8th graders to explore the Christian faith at Wayne Presbyterian Church and take the next step toward becoming members. The next class begins September 7th.
Children & Youth in Music
Children’s Choir
Young people in grades Kiindergarten – 5th are invited to join the Children’s Choir. Rehearsals are on Sundays from 10:30AM-11:00AM and they periodically sing in worship. Â
