Discussions Continue With radnor Township
Wayne Presbyterian Church (WPC) has had a strong relationship with the greater Radnor community since 1870. And we are pleased for the opportunity for open dialogue with Radnor Township regarding the church-owned parking spaces in the center of Wayne.
It is the church’s intent to engage in an agreement mutually beneficial to both the Township and WPC. To be effective immediately, the church is preparing a six-month extension to the current lease while working together to define future terms. The existing agreement has been in place with the same terms since 1955. It is due for renewal November 22, 2024. There is not a plan to close or remove parking opportunities in Wayne.
WPC opposes Radnor Township’s proposed ordinance to acquire the land/parking area using eminent domain and continues to solicit the Township for new lease terms.
