John Grecia is a dynamic and versatile musician, celebrated for his multifaceted career as a conductor, pianist, organist, vocalist, songwriter, and educator. He holds a B.S. in Music Education and an M.M. in Choral Conducting from West Chester University, where he honed his expertise in fostering musical excellence.

As the conductor of the Wayne Oratorio Society and Director of Music Ministries at Wayne Presbyterian Church, John shapes vibrant musical communities with his leadership and artistry. His collaborative spirit shines as a pianist, having worked with the music departments of West Chester University and Overbrook School for the Blind. He also serves as the dedicated pianist and accompanist for The Crossing, a multiple Grammy Award-winning, Philadelphia-based professional choir renowned for its commitment to commissioning and performing innovative, socially conscious choral music. Through The Crossing, John has collaborated with prestigious ensembles such as the New York Philharmonic, Los Angeles Philharmonic, and even The Rolling Stones, while forging connections with leading composers shaping the global choral landscape.

Beyond the classical realm, John is a prominent figure in Philadelphia’s pop/rock music scene, with over 25 years as a professional pianist, vocalist, and songwriter. His energetic performances captivate audiences, with a bustling schedule of over 150 engagements annually, showcasing his versatility and passion for music across genres.
