Class Description:
The Books of Jonah and Exodus : A foreign-raised, son of privilege sent to lead his enslaved people to freedom. A "son of the truth," who runs away from his call to the destroyers of Israel. This study is a tale of two reluctant prophes and the similarities of their respective calls. We will explore and discuss how their journeys reveal the gracious and compassionate character of God to people who do not show that to one another.
