Church Leadership

The leadership of Wayne Presbyterian Church consists of our Pastors, Staff, Elders and Deacons.

The Session is made up of the Pastors of the church and all Elders elected and installed to active service. The Session typically meets on the third Tuesday of the month. Session meetings are normally moderated by a called and installed pastor and minutes are recorded by a Clerk. Elders are elected for three-year terms.

Liz Wagner spent thirty years as a CPA in corporate accounting in Charlotte, North Carolina before being called to the ministry. After graduating from Union Presbyterian Seminary at Charlotte, Rev. Wagner served as the Associate Pastor at the Presbyterian Church of Bella Vista, Arkansas, before returning to Ohio and serving as solo pastor at the First Presbyterian Church in Logan. Liz is hoping to restart her final project in the Doctor of Ministry Program at Austin Presbyterian Theological Seminary. The Wagners moved to Philadelphia a couple years ago when Jim accepted the position of Business Administrator for the Presbytery of Philadelphia. She and her husband live in center city blocks away from their two sons, daughter-in-law and “grand-pets”.
